All you need to know about LG G3 Beat with a 5-inch HD display
LG has just announced a new LG G3 Beat smartphone with a 5-inch HD display and a laser AF camera will be on its way this July. According to LG, the new G3 Beat has the same design language as that of the G3, but it comes in a compact package.
FEATURES
The new smartphone will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Processor and Adreno 305 GPU.
MEMORY
8 GB internal memory and a microSD card slot up to 64 GB along with a 1 GB of RAM
CAMERA
LG G3 Beat has a 8 MP Primary camera, 3264 x 2448 pixels, laser autofocus, LED flash which features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face & smile detection, HDR and it also comes with a 1.3 MP front camera. 1080p@30fps for the Video camera.
DISPLAY and WEIGHT
IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.3 mm, 720 x 1280 pixels, 5.0 inches 294 ppi (pixel density). It comes in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold and weighs 134 g.
NETWORK
The smartphone will support 2G, 3G with 4G LTE and HSPA+ with download speeds up to 21Mbps and will be using a micro-sim.
CONNECTIVITY
Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE, NFC and microUSB v2.0 along with a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot.
BATTERY
The battery on the LG G3 Beat is 2540mAh and is user-removable.
RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
The smartphone was released on July 18th in South Korea and the global rollout started from Europe and CIS countries will follow after that. The pricing is around €349 in europe.
